Wednesday
I love neutral tones especially for the summer. Light colors are a great idea to embrace the season while keeping cool in that Arizona heat.

I went a little literal with my outfit choice today. Woke up feeling a lack of pep in my step, but that doesn't mean I need to take it out on my wardrobe. Decided to make a blah outfit pop adding cobalt blue as a representation of my mood.

How To Effectively Accessorize
Have you ever heard yourself say the following?
“I don’t even know what I would wear that necklace with?”
“I wish I knew how to wear rings.”
“That bracelet is so cute, but it’d probably end up sitting in my closet and I would never wear it.”
Well, many times accessories can be overwhelming; however, it really doesn’t have to be. My first and foremost rule is this:
If you are in love with it and the price is too good to pass up – just get it anyways!
Don’t second guess yourself on what outfit you are going to wear the accessory with because most of the time you’ll end up finding out that you can wear it over and over again with different outfits. There is always a way to wear an earring, ring, necklace, or bracelet. Not always together at the same time, but there are ways to make it work. The best way to accomplish that is by listening to Coco Chanel when she said, "Always remove one thing before you leave the house. Less is more.”
Now that you have that in mind, let’s discuss how you should wear certain accessories.
Necklaces: If your shirt is an abundant array of patterns or colors – keep the necklace simple. A long thin chain necklace with a charm would be ideal. Now if your shirt or dress is simple or a solid color, go all out on the necklace! A massive bib necklace or a layered waterfall necklace would be perfect.
Bracelets: Begin with a watch or a thick bangle that gives off just the right pop of color. Even then there is nothing wrong with a silver or gold bangle either. Then if you are in a sassy mood – start layering your arm with thin bangles or a bulky chained bracelet. There is nothing wrong with some arm candy!
Rings: You can pretty much never go wrong with a ring or two or three or four. If your necklace is very loud though - it’d be more ideal to keep your rings simple with maybe one diamond ring and a knuckle ring for that added oomph. If your necklace and bracelet are subtle, rock out on the rings. Go nuts! Big, small, knuckle. You choose!

One of the keys to earrings is to not match it too much with your other jewelry. If it looks too matchy-matchy, then you’re either a bride or a bridesmaid. Just don’t do it…
